4. What time shall anti-infective properties Of NAC: N-acetylcysteine has been studied as a antiviral agent. This potential is still being fully explored for diseases such as influenza. Anti-bacterial and bacterial static properties of N-acetylcysteine have been demonstrated. In addition N-acetylcysteine has been shown to work synergistically with antibiotics in bacterial infection, especially in situations where bio films are evident.
